Iconoplasm represents each human gene as a humanlike character. Any Iconoplasm user can claim a gene to take care for. Caretakers can modify:
- Modify gene prose description
- Modify gene image tags
- Quality control: Some genes consistently characters
- Real-time coordination: Caretakers adjust to corrections in gene-to-character mappings and to new media modalities
- Creative narratives
Who can become a caretaker? At the moment, anyone with a Discord account can become a caretaker. You don’t need to be a member of Brinedew.bio to be a caretaker. This might change in the future.
